Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 26 for the First Annual Senior Expo at the Hernando Senior Citizens Club from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. The Expo will feature keynote speaker Linda McKenna, Owner and Senior Care Advocate at Golden Rule Senior Placement Services. Linda has been in the home health care industry for over 20 years. She is a certified assisted living administrator and long-standing member of several assisted living associations. She started Golden Rule Senior Placement Services in 2017 which provides consultation, customized profile detailing and community placement for seniors.
The Expo will also feature informative workshops on senior community living, financial planning, healthcare and available resources. There will also be food trucks, free blood pressure screening, vendors, giveaways and more.
One of the event organizers, Paul Sturdgess-Hayes, who is a Realtor® with Dennis Realty and Assisted Living Specialist said the event was created with the needs of seniors in mind. “It is vitally important that our Senior Community understand the resources that are available to them within the community. The Senior Expo aims to provide networking and education for seniors to show them the wealth of resources available to them.”
