Around the World with Santa: A Heartwarming Celebration full of Community

On Sunday, December 8th, the Hernando Beach community came together for a festive and unforgettable event—Around the World with Santa! Held at Dennis Realty’s Hernando Beach office at 3263 Shoal Line Blvd, this magical holiday gathering welcomed 125 attendees for an afternoon full of joy, fun, and holiday cheer. The event was a true testament to the spirit of community, bringing families together to enjoy a wide range of activities, delicious treats from all over the world, and, of course, a special visit from Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus themselves. It was the perfect way to celebrate the season and make lasting memories with loved ones.

A Huge Thank You to Our Event Planners and Volunteers

This event wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible dedication and hard work of the event planners and volunteers who made it all come together seamlessly. A heartfelt thank you to Amy Maxson, Paul Sturdgess-Hayes, Nicole Parker, Christina Green, and Karla Heffernan Voss for their outstanding efforts in organizing, setting up, and running the event. Their creativity, teamwork, and passion helped transform the day into a magical experience from all over the world!

Activities for ALL!

• Colorful Personalityz Face Painting by Brenda Grant Parish: Thank you to Brenda who inspired many as she painted each face with amazing creativity. We had a wonderful face painting station that allowed everyone to get into the festive spirit with holiday-themed designs.
• Games and Crafts: Kids had a blast with a variety of fun games and craft activities, making holiday ornaments, cards, and keepsakes to take home. The slime-making station was a big hit, with kids getting creative and crafting their own colorful, sparkly slime to take home.
•  Sunshine Sliders Food Truck: Guests enjoyed delicious sliders and tasty treats from the Sunshine Sliders food truck, which kept everyone fueled and satisfied.
• Festive Trunks & Costumes: The combination of global-themed trunks, festive décor, and candy from all around the world left a desirable festive feeling from any part of the world!  Many attendees got into the holiday spirit by dressing in their most creative outfits, adding to the fun and excitement of the day!

With a fantastic turnout of 125 people, Around the World with Santa was a resounding success! It was a beautiful celebration of the holiday season, filled with laughter, joy, and a true sense of community. We want to thank everyone who attended, as well as our amazing volunteers and vendors, for helping make this event such a memorable occasion. We’re already looking forward to next year’s festivities, and we can’t wait to continue spreading holiday cheer throughout!
