Our most recent LifeSouth Blood Drive was held on October 9th at both our Lutz and Hernando Beach offices and it was a HUGE success! We had a total of 20 donors who came prepared and ready to give! Seriously, they came with their game faces on and were ready to help their community. With each blood drive we learn a little more about how the blood is used and how each donation contributes to saving lives.

At this blood drive  we had a variety of donors which is beyond amazing because their blood helps in different ways. We had one platelet donor whose blood can be used for cancer patients and five Double Red Blood Cell donors which is used for trauma and surgical patients. We want to extend a huge and very heartfelt “THANK YOU” to those who participated in our latest drive – Carl Stratton, Bob Peercy, Scott Robinson, Teresa Bach, Nicole Duran, Paige Dennis, Tamara Crim & family, Mike Evenick, Martha Julian, Emilio Cornacchione, Nicole Parker, and Grace Losacco-Warniment. We are grateful for everyone who took the time to SAVE A LIFE by contributing and are especially thankful that these donations will be used locally to assist in keeping the community supply on track. To continue the season with a giving spirit, we are hosting two blood drives in the month of December. We will have one on December 3rd from 9am-3pm at our Hernando Beach office along with our Cookies with Santa event, and December 9th from 9am-3pm at our Lutz location.
