Saturday was a special day for The Life Center of Hernando County as they celebrated the re-opening of their facilities. The Life Center’s Executive Director Barbara Lemoine, Mark Akers of the Iron Order and Carl Stratton, Broker with Dennis Realty & Investment Corporation were on site to cut the ribbon on the newly refurbished mobile home. The mobile home, used to provide shelter for young, homeless moms and their children had fallen into disrepair. The 7-month rehabilitation of the home was led by Dennis Realty & Investment Corporation in partnership with the Iron Order Motorcycle Club and multiple vendors who donated time, materials and labor to the project. The rehab included a new kitchen with new countertops and cabinets, new flooring, a new ac, plumbing and electrical repairs, and upgrades to the bathroom.
Funds for the project were raised through the Dennis Realty Anniversary event which included food trucks, a 50/50 raffle, and a silent auction. The Iron Order Motorcycle Club donated materials and labor. The rest of the project wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the community and local vendors including ABC Dennis Insurance, ACE Septic & Waste, Air Stream, Arrow Title, Dennis Property Management, House of Floors, Inland Homes, King of Granite, Peter Azer, Law Office of Harry Heist, Lawn Hogs, Moreno Remodeling, Movement Mortgage, Spring Hill Well Drilling-Pump, Stage Right, The Mortgage Firm Tampa, Tim Fuxan Electrical, Yaegar Flooring, Zephyrhills Classic Cars, and the Dennis Realty 50 th Anniversary Committee, Joan Cristinzio, Mike Evenick, Darin Marshall, Mark Adwell, Paul Sturdgess-Hayes, Nicole Parker, Patti Webster, Gina Dick, Cassidy Spitler, Amy Maxson, Tracy Echols and all of the participating Dennis Realty agents.
